Anil Ambani also impressed by brother house and started Anil Ambani House near to Bandra Palli Hill & Sachin New Home at Perry Corss Road. Mukesh Ambani hosted party for Sachin Tendulkar 100th Century at Antilla pics.
Before one can ever imagine, Antilla is worth Rs 4000 crores and almost 173 meters tall. The complete architecture with gorgeous design methods was implemented by Chicago’s famed designers Perkins and Will. Normally it is equal to 60 storeyed tower, but here each floor is more than twice the height of a normal floor. Therefore when Antilla was completed, the building landed to only 27 floors. This whole building is more than twice as tall as the other tallest buildings of Mumbai. The view from the top is undoubtedly breathtaking. One word that comes to mouth is ‘O my God’.
Mr. Ambani has arranged for tight-security and various guards to guard this heavily expensive home. He has employed 600 staffs to serve the house and the people. Mukesh Ambani with his wife and children moved to Antilla during last year’s Diwali along with 600 servants.

After looking at all these interiors, only one word comes out of mouth…. WOOOOOOW!! Eyes can’t move from each interior part; the house is a palace, as if of old king-queen’s age. Everything is perfect inside, and why not! Neeta Ambani, the spirited Gujju bargain-hunting wife of Mr. Ambani had left no stone unturned to get hold of the best piece at the best rate. Her shopping list consisted of buying 25, 000 pieces of chinaware from Sri Lanka for her high-rise home Antilla, as she did it all single-handedly.

Comparison with Other Icon Home
Mukesh Ambani had brought this huge property in the year 2002. It is not just him who spent $ 1 billion on his new home; there have been plenty of rich tycoons in line.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates house, built as technology showpiece many years back, costing upwards of $100 million.
On the other hand UK-based steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal bought the most costliest house in London last year, paying £60m for a place in Kensington Palace Gardens.
Elizabeth Windsor’s Buckingham Palace is a bit larger at 830, 000 square feet floor space.
But in India itself, there’s one residence that’s much bigger than Antilla. It is none other than the Rashtrapati Bhavan, home of our President Mrs. Pratibha Patil and once the Viceregal Palace. It took 17 years, 700 million bricks and 3 million cubic feet of stone to build the structure with the estimated value of the estate would be around Rs. 46, 261 crore (almost $10.5 billion).

It’s hanging gardens and swimming pool within the structure, a two storey Health centre, Parking space for 168 cars (six floors), a floor exclusively for servicing these Cars inside the building, and also a flooring for House theatre – sitting capacity of fifty. The six lucky people are the man himself, Mr. Ambani, his wife, his 3 children and his mother Kokilaben. The family moved in to Antilla from their old home ‘Sea Wind’ which was a 14 floor building at Cuffe Parade.
Ratan Tata’s Comment on Antilla Mukesh’s House in Mumbai :
Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata had recounted Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani’s 27-storey Mumbai home, Antilla, as an example of rich Indians’ lack of empathy for the poor in May end. He added in an interview to The Times, London,
‘It makes me wonder why someone would do that. That’s what revolutions are made of’
when asked the question in the context of widening income inequalities in India. He even told,
‘The person who lives in there should be involved about what he sees around him and [asking] can he make a difference. If he is not, then it’s extremely sad because this country needs people to allot some of their enormous wealth to finding ways of mitigating the hardship that people have.’
Mr. Ambani’s Antilla under Government Scanner
His $ 1 billion house has entered under the government scanner. He now faces a possible government scrutiny into the construction of his 27-storey luxurious house.
The Maharashtra state government is reflecting whether investigators should look into alleged irregularities over the sale of the land on which the house was built.
Maharashtra Minority Affairs and Wakf minister, Mohammed Arif Naseem Khan, said to the state assembly that the 48,782 square foot plot had originally been reserved for the education of Muslim children.
Minister added that the plot was sold to Ambani by the Currimbhoy Ebrahim Khoja Orphanage Trust for Rs. 215 million ($4.77 million) in 2002.
The opposition leader in the state assembly, Eknath Khadse, of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Monday asserted that the plot was actually worth Rs. 500 crore.
Later a Reliance Industries spokesman told AFP that the matter was only between the Wakf board and the orphanage and the company had no hands in it.
No doubt all credit goes to Mukesh Ambani for building such an extravagant house ‘Antilla’, but truly it was really not needed to spend ample wealth on his massive house. Rather it could be used to support the poor people of our country!
